Meet the founder of Omni Move Exercise Physiology

Kirsty Saward

Kirsty grew up in Far North Queensland, enjoying the sunshine (and tolerating the humidity). From an early age, she was drawn to careers that focused on helping others. When she discovered Exercise Physiology, she knew it was the perfect fit - a profession that combines movement, health and evidence-based care to support people in both preventing injuries and rehabilitating after illness or pain.

After graduating from James Cook University, Kirsty entered private practice where she gained extensive experience working with veterans, post-surgical rehabilitation, and workplace injuries. During this time, she also became qualified in both mat and equipment Pilates, recognising how Pilates principles can enhance injury rehabilitation, improve movement quality and support performance at every level - from recovery to athletic conditioning.

Kirsty’s professional interests naturally evolved toward Women’s Health Exercise Physiology following her own experience with Endometriosis, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. These experiences deepened her understanding of the physical and emotional challenges women face throughout different life stages. Her approach combines science with compassion, helping women build strength, restore confidence and move in ways that support their body and overall wellbeing.

Whether it’s navigating puberty, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or menopause, Kirsty provides personalised guidance through online and telehealth Exercise Physiology sessions - helping women discover movement that feels good, fits their lifestyle and supports their long-term health.

Kirsty is a proud Defence spouse, with her husband having served 18 years in the Australian Army. Defence life has taken their family across the country four times and brought its fair share of challenges, but also provided countless adventures, opportunities and lifelong friendships along the way.

As a mum of two, Kirsty also understands first hand the mental and physical chaos of motherhood - from sleepless newborn nights and chasing toddlers to now juggling school events, extra-curricular activities and busy social calendars. These experiences give her a deep appreciation for the importance of movement, flexibility and self-care through every stage of life.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll likely find Kirsty enjoying a morning coffee, baking sweet treats, listening to 90’s music, rearranging furniture or unwinding with a yin yoga session.
